MX records? Email not being received

Asked in Slack but also asking here!

Trying to hook up MX records switching a website over from Squarespace to Divhunt. They’re not receiving email at all on their domain since the switch.

What am I missing?


You don’t need to modify the MX records; they should continue working with the old provider unless you change the IP address associated with ‘@’ (the root or default domain).

You just need to edit the record for ‘host’ ‘@’."

Or am I missing something?

Ah, it was a GoDaddy issue. I guess when we disconnected Squarespace, it yanked the MX record right out of there too. So we just had to add it back in. Carry on!
