This would be useful for adding external scripts and libraries, and also it would allow users to add more advanced SEO

This is an absolutely necessary feature. While the solution that is suggested elsewhere on the forum with checking the page URL in the code does work, it seems like a strange and messy workaround.
Having an ability to add custom code directly to the page would help a lot to organise the project and be able to load 3rd party tools & libraries only on the pages where they are needed.
