Can't exit Rich Text field without saving

I can only SAVE the Rich Text field, but I can’t just exit it without saving. I keep thinking I can click out of the modal, or hit the ESC key, but nothing actually closes the box without having to save whatever is in there. Help!

I find this quite annoying as well. You have to reload the entire page to exit the Rich Text field without saving.
