CMS? Memberships? Gated Content? Community?

So, for the past few months, I’ve been learning how to use Divhunt and waiting for more features to be added/updated. But I can’t really wait any longer and need to start building so I have a couple of questions I’m hoping someone can answer.

I understand the things I’m asking are features Divhunt wants to add but with being backed up and no clear timeline, I need to figure out how I’m going to go about doing this.

The CMS I’ll be working on creating will need to consist of well over 1000+ items and multiple collections, would it be better to just use something like Airtable or Aitable for now since there’s still a lot more you want to do to the native CMS?

Also, i was really hoping memberships would be added soon because this is a large part of the web app i’m building. But it doesn’t look like this will be done any time soon. For the web app I’m going to need to have user accounts, gated content, multi level subscriptions, memberships, community features, and all that good stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go about doing this? I want to be able to have control over how the app looks and behaves so that eliminates some third parties.

I’d really appreciate if anyone has a good solution for these because I need to get to working on these asap and can’t keep waiting.

Thanks

Hey,

We do have CMS that is very capable of achiving a lot.

Memberships is planned for this year. Hopefully we can launch it 1st of December.

So, since I don’t have anything set up already in Airtable or Aitable, do you think it’d be best to just set it up in Divhunt? I just thought you guys still had a lot you wanted to do to the CMS so I didn’t know if it’d be best to use something else for now.

And yeah, I knew memberships were coming. Trust me, I want to wait. The last thing I want to do is use a third party and try piecing everything together. But, that’s too long from now, and who knows what’s going to happen by then. I could wait and it got pushed back because something came up.

So, I was hoping that maybe someone already set something like this up and could let me know how they did it. Or I was hoping someone might know how to go about doing this and could share what they know.

I want to build a membership/community. I’ll need things like user profiles, community hubs, gated content, membership/subscription options, comments, ratings, etc.

If anyone is knowledgeable about this stuff and could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. I’m not, so whatever information someone could share to help me get this going, I’d really appreciate it.

I’ve looked into things like Mighty Networks and Circle and Memberstack. But I’m hoping someone is experienced with this stuff and could inform me on the best way to go about setting something like this up.

Thanks!

Hey.

We do want to improve CMS a lot, but that doesn’t mean its weak, its much more powerful than Webflow for example even in this stage  But we need to work on tutorials and full academy of CMS soon.

In temrs of Memberships, I am not aware if someone did a setup on Divhunt yet… but I guess any JS based membership will work such as Memberstack… just remember, Memberstack and similar tools are very weak in terms of security… all it takes is to just disable javascript in your browser, and they can see your whole content :joy:

:man_facepalming:

Damn. That’s just great.

Now, I’m wondering if I’m even going to be able to do this at all!

So not a single person in this community who’s knowledgeable about this?

I’ve looked into it more and I’ve decided to go with Supabase. That seems like the best option. (I think :man_shrugging:)

But still if someone has any information on how to go about setting this up, I’d really appreciate it.

If you need a solution today, Pakic already said it. Memberstack.

I know. He also said “just remember, Memberstack and similar tools are very weak in terms of security… all it takes is to just disable javascript in your browser, and they can see your whole content :joy:

That’s why I said I think the best option will be going with Supabase. I was hoping someone had a solution they put together already.
