It would be helpful to support deleting selected elements using the Backspace or Delete key. This is much faster and more intuitive than right-clicking and selecting Remove from the context menu every time. Adding this shortcut would improve workflow efficiency.

Agree. We tried, but for now its a bit delayed for v2.0, since it is not an urgent feature and its not that easily to be built as it seems
