I have a small project on a free project created before you guys included new limits. However, it’s a one pager, so I’m confused by this message that I got when I wanted to publish some changes.
They have a post about it in their updates here: Custom code is no longer available on the free plan | Divhunt Updates
In short, there was some unexpected abuse that’s basically ruined DivHunt’s free-tier offering for everyone. Essentially someone used DivHunt’s altruism to create thousands of phishing sites (which put them at risk with their host provider) so they’ve had to remove the capability of embeds and custom code on free sites.
I deleted all the content from my website, including every embed tag, but I’m still getting the following error: “This website uses embed tags”, saying that I’m exceeding the limit. Even after removing everything, the error still shows up.
Hi,
It was a bug. It is resolved now.
Thanks for lettting us know
I’ve just come across the same - I used one the the ‘free’ templates so didn’t realise there was an embed tag - how do I easily find them to remove them?
Thanks
using layers you can find embed tag. If you can’t give me website url and I will try to find it for you
