Google Search Console continues to flag the page Pandovia | About as a 404.
The page clearly exists, even with the ‘/’ appended it redirects to Pandovia | About? and loads fine.
I’ve attached the sitemap, the URL inspection report, and the report when I click on ‘Test Live URL’
My homepage seemed to be indexed… so I am completely lost why this could be happening. This doesn’t seem to be anything that I’m doing on my end, and I have not set up any kind of robots.txt conditions either.
I also tested on my since it’s being tested by ‘Googlebot smartphone’ and I’m not seeing any issue there either.
Appreciate your help here. It’s pretty crucial that my site’s pages get indexed.
There are other pages on the sitemap though that are not listed. I went through the others one by one using their ‘live test’ feature and results returned ok and have requested them to be indexed.
I went back to the page in question https://pandovia.com/about and tested it without the ‘/’ appended at the end. And the test results didn’t return an error this time. I requested that url without the ‘/’ to be indexed. Will update here if something gets flagged again.
So the issue seems to be specific to the google crawler trying to index https://pandovia.com/about/ with the extra ‘/’. Not even sure why it was trying to index with a ‘/’ because the sitemap submitted doesn’t have this.
