How do tags work?

I’m used to only working with classes, so I’m not quite sure how tags work. Could someone please explain to me what the purpose of them is?

When you create a new element, a tag is automatically assigned to it by Divhunt.

Here are the different ways to style your elements within Divhunt:

Global Styles

These are automatically created and apply to various types of elements such as your H1s, buttons, links, etc.

Created Classes

These are classes which you make and apply certain rules to. This is perfect is there is a certain style you want to repeat often throughout your website as you will easily be able to ass it to new elements. One example of when you would use this is for your primary and secondary buttons.

Tags

Like I said, a new tag is created every time you add a new element to your site. Changes made to this tag will only affect this specific element and cannot be reused elsewhere. A good example of when you would want to use this is when you have a unique element which requires a little margin beneath it.
