Issues with Blog Collection Setup and Project Loading

Hey Divhunt team,

Hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been a fan of Divhunt for a while and recently plan to build my personal website. Unfortunately, I’ve been running into multiple bugs that are making the experience difficult.

In the video attached, you’ll see two key issues:

  1. Blog Collection Bug: Installing the collection was glitchy—despite clicking “Install,” it initially didn’t respond. Later it showed as installed but still asked me to install again. I had to uninstall and reinstall it from settings for it to work. However, even after adding content, it’s not pulling the data correctly on the front-end.

  2. Project Loading Issue: A project I built months ago now opens to a blank white screen when accessed from the dashboard. I had to reset it completely, and I’m worried this might happen again after investing time in building my site.

Please take a look at the screen recording for full context and help me resolve these. Again, this is on a paid plan, not a free tier.

Hi,

This been asnwered on Discord, but I will leave reply here as well for someone in future if he needs it:

  1. It was most likely some temporary bug, usually doesnt happen. I have never seen it before, if it happens again, we can investigate more.

  2. Page doesnt automatically know that it should pull data from CMS, So what you need to do is on Single page you created for blog, click right click > Source > and select Blog as your source

This way you basically tell to that page “you are single page of blog” - and you will have access to data

But I agree, CMS needs to be more user friendly, we are working on improvements
