Is there any way to keep a page in draft mode? I can’t find an option to simply publish or unpublish a static page, like the Stylesheet page, without having to edit the robots.txt to prevent search engines from indexing non-public pages.
The best option is to set-up the Page no-follow/no-index via Page settings till it’s ready. It’s just a click.
Yes, I will use that for pages that should never show up on search engines; that’s totally okay for now. However, it becomes tricky if you later want to make the page visible to search engines. There is no visible indicator if the page is ‘online’ or not. Moreover, the site is still accessible if you know the link.
