I find myself in need of a membership site. Is this powerful platform geared for building and handling something like this OR, is it just easier to buy a WP theme and link to it?

We don’t have native memberships yet, it is planned for this year.
I guess currently it is possible to create memberships through some 3rd party solutions using REST API application and a bit of JS.
But my honest opinion right now is, if you are not a developer, you will have much easier time with WordPress, until we release our own Memberships.
