It seems that Google is currently unable to read meta descriptions for blog items.
I’ve just checked my own site, and I also have this issue.

@Yaiza : Did you check that on the divhunt-stage site, or on your live site (domain)?
When i check this on the divhunt-site, its’ not working, but on my live site its working…
@noxic This is a live site. We couldn’t find a way to read CMS items’ meta descriptions, and traffic on blog pages is plummeting.
None of our tools are capable of reading it, and the same goes for all the online checkers we’ve tried and our blog pages are slipping down the search rankings.
Hmm… My guess is that you may have selected the wrong variable. You need to choose “Data” first, then “SEO.”
yes… that’s how i had to select the metatags from the cms…

Thanks a lot, @noxic! For some reason, we linked it from page/seo/description. We’re running some tests to see if that resolves the issue.
