Organization of fields in collections

When I created fields in collections, I wasn’t sure what’s the purpose of tabs and whether it reflects on the website somehow.

If I understand correctly, it’s just for internal organization?

Now that I have plenty of fields in collections, I’m wondering if and how could I move some of the fields to a different tab, to make the whole process more simple. Is that possible, or would I have to create new fields and reconnect everything again?


you can move them and change sizes - just have to click gear icon when you hover collection and you can catch the field on the left size of it.

I organized them in a single tab similar to how you did it. However, I’d like to move some fields to another tab, and it doesn’t seem there’s a way to do it.
