Page Build Example

When you have time, adding some example builds from scratch would help people trying to learn Divhunt.

I’ve gone through the videos in the divhunt academy (which is great thanks for adding) and on YouTube. And I’ve watched a ton of Webflow videos. I’ve even taken beginner courses on HTML and CSS in Codecademy. But applying everything to Divhunt is difficult because it’s like piecing bits of information from a bunch of different places in a program you’re not familiar with yet.

I know once you master or become advanced in something it’s hard to think back to how it was starting out yourself and you might not understand how some people aren’t picking it up or “getting it” yet. But it’s just really difficult when trying to piece together information and learn something from a bunch of different sources. It’d be a lot easier to see a workflow or project gone through from start to finish that people can follow along to.

I know you have some on YouTube where you rebuild certain websites but even those are difficult because the projects are already created in Figma.

I don’t know. It’s just my opinion. I think it’d be beneficial for new users who are unfamiliar with this type of builder. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Rebuild the Divhunt home page from scratch and go through the entire process without having anything set up in figma.
  • Show a step by step guide on how to actually set up a project and style sheet in Divhunt.
  • Build certain sections from scratch showing exactly.
  • Go step by step through how to add or build certain animations to projects.
  • Show how to use each of the plugins

Just a thought. Maybe it can give you some ideas. Thanks for everything

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I agree, it can be quite difficult to start with web development.

We are currently in the process of creating exactly the video you are looking for. It will show the proper website setup process, deeply explain the fundamentals of web development, and how to create a proper structure. It will cover responsiveness and everything else in detail, and show the whole website-building process.

One important thing to mention is that even the Divhunt website started as a design in Figma. It’s much easier to draw rectangles than develop them, which is why the whole industry designs in Figma first and then passes it to developers.
Figma is “just a drawing tool” (it’s not, but I want to explain this better) where you can quickly explore more options faster.

Regarding the plugin tutorials, each plugin will have its own dedicated page in the marketplace, complete with its own video tutorial.

Awesome. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I’m trying to learn how to use Figma now. What I meant by that comment was that it’s difficult trying to learn Divhunt when watching the tutorials where you bounce back and forth. Because nothing is really being explained. It’s just being copied from values you already have set up in Figma. So, I was having a hard time following along.

Thanks tho. Looking forward to the video
